Each USB port supports Battery Charging v1.2 (BC 1.2) standards for faster charging of mobile devices, such as Apple and Android smartphones and tablets.

The hub supports USB 3.0 SuperSpeed data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps, which is 10 times faster than USB 2.0. It is especially recommended for high-bandwidth USB 3.0 devices, such as security cameras and high-resolution webcams. Each BC 1.2 port provides up to 1.5A for charging mobile devices. When the hub is connected to AC power, it can double as a USB charger providing up to 2.4A maximum power per port (total power available to all ports depends on the external power supply).
